This striking sphere features natural Willemite and Calcite from Sterling Hill, Ogdensburg, New Jersey, one of the most famous fluorescent mineral locations in the world. Under shortwave UV light, the Willemite glows brilliant green, while the Calcite shines vivid red creating a dynamic and otherworldly contrast.
Each sphere is individually cut and polished to showcase the natural beauty of this rare material, both in daylight and under UV.

The Sterling Hill Willemite & Calcite 32mm Sphere is a unique collectible item featuring a UV bright fluorescent mineral. This particular sphere was mined in the United States and showcases the striking beauty of Willemite and Calcite. The vibrant colors and patterns created by the fluorescence make this sphere a captivating addition to any mineral collection or display.
We use a 36 watt fluorescent lamp specifically designed for viewing displayed fluorescent minerals. UVC Shortwave-254 nanometers, UVA Longwave-365 nanometers. The lamp was built and designed by "Way Too Cool" of AZ.
Our minerals are photographed dry, and no type of of photo enhancement is employed, as it appears under our lamp is how it photoed and is presented on our listings. We display shortwave photos and long wave photos. Not all UV minerals fluoresce under all UV waves. These items will not fluoresce as shown in our photos with a poster lamp. They will fluoresce as shown if you are using a fluorescent mineral lamp, designed for that purpose.
We have a large selection of fluorescent minerals, for fluorescent hobbyists, and fluorescent mineral spheres as well. When you purchase an Endless Circle sphere it is a one of a kind art work that will fill your home with the beauty and sentiment that an original artwork brings. It is crafted by two loving Artisans, not mass produced in a huge shop. Fluorescent mineral collecting is a hobby that requires specific equipment to view the fluorescence. A black light doesn't work for this purpose.
Please remember there are many factors to consider, such as how your computer monitor displays the photos. Also SW minerals will not fluoresce with most of the UV flashlights.
